Knight Owls Snowmobile Meeting
Monday March 2, 2026 - Groomer Shed, W5041 Hoovie Road, Tomahawk, WI 54487 7:00 p.m.
Call to order at 7:05 PM by Jason Davis, Vice President
Minutes of the last meeting (2/2/2026) were read, with no corrections, motion by Frank Drake, second by Bob Leonhard, all in favor.
New Members none
The Treasurer Report for February was presented by Treasurer Nancy Swan
Trail Report was given by Gary Hilgendorf – All trails closed 3/2/2026 at 4:00 pm. Gary stated if anyone is ever interested in trail brushing, just get a hold of him.
Old Business
Nancy Swan said the Gun Raffle next year will be at Pine Pointe Saturday, February 6th.
The yearly 50/50 is up to $325
$100 Raffle went well and the turnout for the Community Ride was great!
Tom Wulf offered to pay for the Land Owner Certificates, but it was decided to offer the option for other businesses to participate in some type of donation to the landowners. You may contact Joan Hillgendorf if your business is willing to participate 715-966-0819
New Business
A huge shout out to the Star Foundation for giving our club a $2,000 donation, this was presented to the club by Kathy Rankin, Jackie Leonhard and Kay Kissinger.
Spring Hoot tickets and posters are out, and Jill Dequaine offered to do a raffle basket. If anyone has ideas or would like to donate to this event or help out, please contact Nancy Swan 715-966-0308 or Stephanie Van Strydonk 715-966-0306
May 24, 2026, is our Beer/Booze Raffle at Castaway’s and we are considering combining a $100 calendar raffle.
The Club then asked for nominations for President, Secretary, three regular board members and one business board member.
Nancy Swan nominated John Bootz for President, (he wasn’t present to accept) with a second from Joan Hilgendorf.
Joan Hilgendorf nominated Tammy Blackwell for Secretary (she accepted) with a second from Nick Rosenmeier.
Jason Davis nominated Tom Wulf for Business Board Member (he accepted) with a second from Gary Hilgendorf.
Jason Davis nominated Tim Blackwell as a Board Member (he accepted) with a second from Gary Hilgendorf.
Joan Hilgendorf nominated Bob Leonhard (he accepted) with a second from Josh Burbach.
Nancy Swan nominated Gosha Roszina (she wasn’t present to accept) with a second from Josh Burbach.
Nominations and voting will be held at our next meeting.
50/50 was won by Alan VanStrydonk, congratulations!
Meeting was adjourned by Jason Davis at 7:40, motion by Tom Wulf, second by Kevin LaMarche, all in favor.
